Bibhakar & Sons Private Limited holds an FSSAI licence, is registered with the Spices Board of India as an exporter, is registered with the US FDA as a food facility, and is a member of FIEO. Every export lot is cleaned, sieve-graded and checked for moisture and foreign matter.

HOW WE CONTROL QUALITY

Six checkpoints from farm lot to shipment

Raw green cardamom lot opened for inspection 01 Lot selection Each lot is bought from one named growing region and inspected for colour, size and aroma before purchase.
Cumin seeds being hand-sorted to remove stones and stems 02 Cleaning Stones, stems, dust and other foreign matter are removed by sieving and hand-sorting.
Green cardamom graded with a brass sieve 03 Size grading Spices are graded with sieves to the stated size, such as 8 mm and above for green cardamom.
Moisture meter with green cardamom pods for in-house lot checks 04 In-house checks Moisture, foreign matter, size and litre weight are checked and recorded for every lot.
Export packing in PET jars and bulk bags 05 Food-grade packing Packed in food-grade PET jars, liners and bags, sealed and labelled with origin, grade and lot number.

06 Documentation Each export lot gets a phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin.

Checks and lab tests

In-house checks run on every lot. Lab tests are done at an accredited third-party laboratory for each destination’s rules or on buyer request.

ChinaChina requires GACC registration of overseas food manufacturers. We do not yet hold it, so China supply is by enquiry only for now.
