Spices in high demand: what buyers search for
Bibhakar Spices, a Ghaziabad, India exporter, reviewed Google Keyword Planner data from October 2025 to September 2026 to see which spices buyers search for most. Cardamom, cumin and turmeric lead in Saudi Arabia, cardamom and cumin in Germany, and bulk cardamom, cinnamon and pepper in the USA. Google shows ranges, not exact counts.

What the numbers do and do not show
These are searches, not orders. Product terms such as cardamom or cumin are searched by home cooks as well as by buyers, so the wholesale terms in each row are the closer guide to trade demand. The strongest wholesale demand in this data is in the USA, where wholesale, bulk and importer terms reach 1,000 to 10,000 searches a month.
Search demand is lower where buyers work through traders and trade shows. In the UAE, most English wholesale terms sit at 10 to 100 searches a month, and in Brazil no wholesale term reached 100.
Trade bodies point the same way for Europe. CBI lists turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom and cumin among the best opportunities for exporters to the Netherlands.
